PRAYING GOD'S WILL | FINANCIAL PROBLEMS (3)

1. Praying God's Will

a) What should you pray for? Scripture is clear that you should pray God's word. At the same time, you must never forget that God is sovereign and that He is not obligated to a name-it-and-claim-it theology. God will always do what is best. But at the same time you will do well to understand that when you pray God's word, you are actually praying both the mind and the perfect will of God for yourself.

b) If you follow a systematic plan of praying God's will, you will see dynamic growth take place in your life. You will become the man God intended you to be.

2. Financial Problems

Heavenly Father, it is not Your will that I should have to contend unnecessarily with financial problems. Because I believe strongly in Your word, I present to You as my prayers for me Your very words on this subject. Please honor Your word and release me from any and all financial problems in my life. I pray Your words in Jesus' name. Amen.

3. God's Word

a) 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 New King James Version (NKJV)

But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

b) Matthew 19:29-30 New King James Version (NKJV)

29 And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life. 30 But many who are first will be last, and the last first.

c) Joshua 1:8 New King James Version (NKJV)

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
