Finally, I am reminded that I should invest my efforts in things that have enduring value, not in pursuits that are here today and gone tomorrow.

How does it apply to me?

Examine your own attitude toward wealth and position. Are you placing your trust in what is temporary? If so, redirect your trust to God, who alone is eternal. Then examine your work and your stewardship. Are you giving diligence, thought, and effort to your business, your family, and your responsibilities?
