THE D-DAY OF HAMAN

(Message by Tanny Keng)

1. When is the D-Day of Haman?

a) The fate of Haman is near. It has been made known in Esther 7:9.

Esther 7:9 New King James Version (NKJV)

Now Harbonah, one of the eunuchs, said to the king, “Look! The gallows, fifty cubits (75-foot) high, which Haman made for Mordecai, who spoke good on the king’s behalf, is standing at the house of Haman.”

Then the king said, “Hang him on it!”

b) The Lord has so determined to put an end to the evil schemes / devices / plans (Esther 3:9-11) of Haman 2 days from today i.e. 23rd March 2015. Mark this DATE!

Esther 3:9-11 New Century Version (NCV)

If it pleases the king, let an order be given to destroy those people. Then I will pay seven hundred fifty thousand pounds of silver to those who do the king’s business, and they will put it into the royal treasury.”

10 So the king took his signet ring off and gave it to Haman son of Hammedatha, the Agagite, the enemy of the Jewish people. 11 Then the king said to Haman, “The money and the people are yours. Do with them as you please.”

c) You ought to persevere, to stand firm, on God's whispered promises. Just only for a few days away. Hold on to the prophetic words spoken over you, the plans revealed for you, the promotion due to you, your life-long dreams, your good health, etc. Hold on to Jeremiah 29:11:

Jeremiah 29:11New International Version (NIV)

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

d) God's people ought to rejoice over this victory. A victory only God can do it for us in such a time like this. Celebrate this sure victory!

e) When Haman is out of our lives, we can expect goodness and mercy of God to follow us all the day of our lives (Psalms 23:6).

f) Remember how Mordecai was rewarded (the position of Prime Minister) in the end after the fiery trial in Esther 8...

Esther 8:1-2 New Century Version (NCV)

That same day King Xerxes gave Queen Esther everything Haman, the enemy of the Jewish people, had left when he died. And Mordecai came in to see the king, because Esther had told the king how he was related to her. Then the king took off his signet ring that he had taken back from Haman, and he gave it to Mordecai. Esther put Mordecai in charge of everything Haman left when he died.

g) So, don't give up. Stay on course. Rejoice. Celebrate for the D-Day of Haman is not too far away.

The End...
