JUSTICE (2)

(Message by Tanny Keng)

1. Bible Topic

a) To learn what the Bible has to say on a variety of topics affecting our everyday lives, we may find what we are looking for here.

2. Justice

a) Who can we rely on if there’s no justice? It’s in the Bible, Psalm 50:15, NKJV. “Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”

b) You are not left defenseless. It’s in the Bible, Psalm 72:12, NKJV. “For He will deliver the needy when he cries, the poor also, and him who has no helper.”

c) God can take our tragic losses and turn them into gain. It’s in the Bible, Romans 8:28, NKJV. “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

d) When Jesus came, He showed us true justice. It’s in the Bible, Psalm 146:7-9, “Who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The LORD gives freedom to the prisoners. The LORD opens the eyes of the blind; the LORD raises those who are bowed down; the LORD loves the righteous.  The LORD watches over the strangers; He relieves the fatherless and widow; but the way of the wicked He turns upside down.”

e) Jesus endured injustice while He was on earth. It’s in the Bible, Acts 8:32-33, NKJV. “The place in the Scripture which he read was this: ‘He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and as a lamb before its shearer is silent, so He opened not His mouth. In His humiliation His justice was taken away, and who will declare His generation? For His life is taken from the earth.’”
