ARISE, SHINE (3)
(Message by Tanny Keng)
1. Arise, Shine
(Isaiah 60:1-3 NKJV)
Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.
2. Other Scriptures
(Isaiah 9:2-3)
The people who walked in darkness Have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined. {3} You have multiplied the nation And increased its joy; They rejoice before You According to the joy of harvest, As men rejoice when they divide the spoil.
(Isaiah 29:18-19)
In that day the deaf shall hear the words of the book, And the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity and out of darkness. {19} The humble also shall increase their joy in the LORD, And the poor among men shall rejoice In the Holy One of Israel.
(Isaiah 42:6-7)
“I, the LORD, have called You in righteousness, And will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the Gentiles, {7} To open blind eyes, To bring out prisoners from the prison, Those who sit in darkness from the prison house.
