1. Bible Prayers

a) There is no best prayer known other than to pray accordingly to His Word. This is one sure way of experiencing what His Word says in our lives as we identify and agree with what He has said in His Word.

b) There are more than 7,200 prayers in the Bible. Below are some examples that you may want to use by yourself, in a group, or be creative and pass along ways others may be able to use it.

a) Luke 9:23 King James Version (KJV)

²³ And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

Lord, cause me to come after You, and to take up my cross daily and follow You.

b) Luke 9:56 King James Version (KJV)

⁵⁶ For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the Son of man did not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them.

Lord God, cause me to receive salvation through Your Son.
