0. Introduction
a) Psalms is a great collection of songs and prayers expresses the heart and soul of humanity. In them, the whole range of human experiences is expressed. David and the other writers honestly pour out their true feelings, reflecting a dynamic, powerful, and life-changing relationship with God. The psalmists confess their sins, express their doubts and fears, ask God for help in times of trouble, and praise and worship him.
b) As you read Psalms, let the honesty of the psalmists guide you into a deep and genuine relationship with God.
1. Psalms 47
a) To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of the sons of Korah.

a) God is still King of the world. All nations of the earth will eventually recognize his lordship.
3. Author:
a) The sons of Korah (temple assistants).
4. Scripture text: Psalms 47:1-9
i) Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples!
Shout to God with the voice of triumph!
2 For the Lord Most High is awesome;
He is a great King over all the earth.
3 He will subdue the peoples under us,
And the nations under our feet.
4 He will choose our inheritance for us,
The excellence of Jacob whom He loves. Selah
