PRAYING GOD'S WILL | FORGIVENESS (1)

1. Praying God's Will

a) What should you pray for? Scripture is clear that you should pray God's word. At the same time, you must never forget that God is sovereign and that He is not obligated to a name-it-and-claim-it theology. God will always do what is best. But at the same time you will do well to understand that when you pray God's word, you are actually praying both the mind and the perfect will of God for yourself.

b) If you follow a systematic plan of praying God's will, you will see dynamic growth take place in your life. You will become the man God intended you to be.

2. Forgiveness

Lord God, for reasons known to You, I need Your forgiveness. Because I sense that and know that I have need  of Your forgiveness I come to You today, praying Your very words back to You in order that I might be forgiven. Bless now the very words from Your mouth on me. Thank You now in Jesus' name. Amen.

3. God's Word

a) Psalm 103:12 New King James Version (NKJV)

12 As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us.

b) Isaiah 43:25 New King James Version (NKJV)

25 “I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake;
And I will not remember your sins.

c) Isaiah 55:7 New King James Version (NKJV)

Let the wicked forsake his way,
And the unrighteous man his thoughts;
Let him return to the Lord,
And He will have mercy on him;
And to our God,
For He will abundantly pardon

d) Jeremiah 33:8 New King James Version (NKJV)

I will cleanse them from all their iniquity by which they have sinned against Me, and I will pardon all their iniquities by which they have sinned and by which they have transgressed against Me.
