PRAY BIBLE PROMISES: PSALMS (15)
(Message by Tanny Keng)
1. Bible Prayers
a) There is no best prayer known other than to pray accordingly to His Word. This is one sure way of experiencing what His Word says in our lives as we identify and agree with what He has said in His Word.
b) There are more than 7,200 prayers in the Bible. Below are some examples that you may want to use by yourself, in a group, or be creative and pass along ways others may be able to use it.
2. Pray Bible Promises
a) Psalm 4:6-7 King James Version (KJV)
6 There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? Lord, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.
7 Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.
Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that there are many who ask for blessing, but who do not know where blessings come from.
Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to put the light of Your countenance on us.
Lord God, cause the light of Your countenance to be on me.
Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to fill our hearts with more gladness and joy, than those who ask for Your blessing and get many worldly goods, but do not know You.
Lord God, cause my heart to be filled with more gladness and joy, than those who have increased riches, yet do not know You.
b) Psalm 4:8 King James Version (KJV)
8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.
Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that only You, are able to make us dwell in safety.
Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that we are able to lay down and sleep in peace, because You make us safe.
Lord God, cause me to look to You for my safe keeping.
Lord God, cause me to lie down in peace, and sleep.
