PLACES IN ACTS: GALATIA

1. Places In Acts

a) We look at the places mentioned in Acts. Each place is located on a map and then we note the people and events associated with that place. Each place contains some information mentioned in the book of Acts. 

2. Galatia 

i) Pronounced Guh-lay'-shuh.

ii) A large area north east of Asia above Cilicia.

iii) Mentioned in connection with Paul’s 2nd missionary journey.

iv) Paul preached throughout this region (Acts 16:6, Acts 18:23).

v) Paul wrote a letter to the churches of Galatia (Galatians 1:2).

vi) Peter wrote a letter to Galatia and neighboring areas (1 Peter 1:1).
