PRAYING GOD'S WILL | FAITH (1)

1. Praying God's Will

a) What should you pray for? Scripture is clear that you should pray God's word. At the same time, you must never forget that God is sovereign and that He is not obligated to a name-it-and-claim-it theology. God will always do what is best. But at the same time you will do well to understand that when you pray God's word, you are actually praying both the mind and the perfect will of God for yourself.

b) If you follow a systematic plan of praying God's will, you will see dynamic growth take place in your life. You will become the man God intended you to be.

2. Faith

a) Father God, in the name of Your Son, Jesus, I pray to You for me. Increase my faith. Help me to remember that You said I am to walk by faith and not by sight. Hear and answer Your word now concerning my faith. Thank You in Jesus' name. Amen.

3. God's Word

a) Luke 17:5 New King James Version (NKJV)

5 And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.”

b) Romans 10:17 New King James Version (NKJV)

17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

c) 2 Corinthians 5:7 New King James Version (NKJV)

7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.

d) 1 Timothy 1:5 New King James Version (NKJV)

5 Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith. ..
