a) Proverbs 21:5 King James Version (KJV)

5 The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that diligence leads to plenty, and those who are hasty to want.

Lord God, cause me to be diligent in my work, and to not be hasty, trying to gain everything too quickly.

b) Proverbs 21:6 King James Version (KJV)

6 The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed to and fro of them that seek death.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that getting treasures by a lying tongue, is a fleeting vapor, and a snare of death.

Lord God, cause me to not use lies, or deceit, to obtain substance or wealth.
