a) Proverbs 27:14 King James Version (KJV)

14 He that blesseth his friend with a loud voice, rising early in the morning, it shall be counted a curse to him.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that rising early in the morning to bless a friend with a loud voice, will be counted as a curse to him.

Lord God, keep me from praising others inappropriately, when praise for the new day should go to You.

b) Proverbs 27:15 King James Version (KJV)

15 A continual dropping in a very rainy day and a contentious woman are alike.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that a continual dropping on a rainy day, and a contentious woman are alike.

Lord God, cause me to be wise when picking someone to marry, and to stay away from contentious women.
