A NEW THING

(Message by Tanny Keng)

0. Introduction

a) On 13th May 2014 (Tuesday) @8.11am, the Lord showed me two numbers 6 and 11. What is He trying to say in respect of the revealed Numbers 6 and 11?

1. Representation

a) In this case, we have two revealed numbers 6 and 11. We also have number 8 (6 + 1 + 1).

b) So, we have a total of 3 numbers i.e. 6, 8 and 11.

c) From item (b) above, there are 2 two sets of number for 6 to 8 (Number 2) and 8 to 11 (Number 3). The sum of these two sets of number makes up Number 5.

d) In conclusion, we have 2 sets of numbers i.e. 6 & 11 and 5 & 8. What do they represent?

2. Numbers 6 & 11

a) In the Bible, the number 6 symbolizes man and human weakness, the evils of Satan and the manifestation of sin. Man was created on the sixth day. Men are appointed 6 days to labor.

b) The number eleven is important in that it can symbolize disorder, chaos and judgment. In the Bible, 11 is used twenty-four times and "11th" can be found 19 times. Coming after 10 (which represents law and responsibility), the number eleven represents the opposite - the irresponsibility of breaking the Law, which brings disorder and judgment. In Genesis 11, men rebelled against God and built the tower of Babel. He judged them by confusing their language, resulting in chaos.

3. Numbers 5 & 8

a) The number 5 symbolizes God's grace, goodness and favor toward humans and is mentioned 318 times in Scripture. Five is the number of grace, and multiplied by itself, which is 25, is 'grace upon grace' (John 1:16).

b)  The number 8 in the Bible represents a new beginning, meaning a new order or creation, and man's true 'born again' event when he is resurrected from the dead into eternal life.

4. How do we reconcile these numbers? What is God trying to say?

a) Number 6 symbolizes man and his weaknesses and also implies the evil works of Satan and the manifestation of sins all around us. Number 11 symbolizes disorder , chaos and judgment that are imminent. That doesn't sound good at all!

b) However, God will show a way out (1 Corinthians 10:13 NLT)

i) The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.

c) Number 5 symbolizes His Grace, goodness and favor toward us and not only that but 'grace upon grace.' (John 1:16 NKJV)

i) And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.

d) In addition, there is a new beginning for us in spite of the impending confusion and disorder. God is about to do something NEW (Isaiah 43:17-19 NLT).

17 I called forth the mighty army of Egypt
with all its chariots and horses.
I drew them beneath the waves, and they drowned,
their lives snuffed out like a smoldering candlewick.

18 “But forget all that—
it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.
19 For I am about to do something new.
See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?
I will make a pathway through the wilderness.
I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.

5. Something NEW

a) God has asked us a question, "Do we not see it?" since He said He has already begun a NEW thing. The impossibilities are not a problem for Him. Consider what He can do, making a pathway through the wilderness and creating rivers in the dry wasteland.

b) What are your concerns? What are the very things you want Him to do for you? Believe and expect sudden blessings to come your way, surprises about to knock on your door. That very NEW thing He is talking about.

The End ...
