MOVING IN THE PROPHETIC | BE AROUND PEOPLE WHO ARE PROPHESYING

1. Moving In The Prophetic 

a) We explore how you can move in the prophetic.  The Greek word for “prophesy” is propheteuo which defines as “to utter forth, declare, a thing which can only be known by divine revelation”.  To prophesy is simply to speak forth a revelation from God.  So, how we can exercise this gift?  

b) There are six keys that will help. Here is one of them.

2. Be Around People Who Are Prophesying

a) A great way to catch the prophetic anointing is to be in the presence of those who are prophesying. The prophetic anointing can be contagious, and that is how Saul was inducted into the prophetic. The prophet Samuel said to Saul:

1 Samuel 10:5-6 (NKJV)
5 After that you shall come to the hill of God where the Philistine garrison is. And it will happen, when you have come there to the city, that you will meet a group of prophets coming down from the high place with a stringed instrument, a tambourine, a flute, and a harp before them; and they will be prophesying. 6 Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man.

b) Even so, as you expose yourself to outpourings of the prophetic, the same will happen to you.   The group of prophets mentioned were actually a prophetic school. This demonstrates that you can be trained in prophetic ministry!
