MOVING IN THE PROPHETIC | BE SENSITIVE TO WHAT BUBBLES UP IN YOUR SPIRIT

1. Moving In The Prophetic

a) We explore how you can move in the prophetic.  The Greek word for “prophesy” is propheteuo which defines as “to utter forth, declare, a thing which can only be known by divine revelation”.  To prophesy is simply to speak forth a revelation from God.  So, how we can exercise this gift?

b) There are six keys that will help. Here is one of them.

2. Be Sensitive To What Bubbles Up In Your Spirit

a) Be aware and sensitive to the fact that prophesies will often ‘bubble up’ from within you and continue to ‘flow’ as you speak it forth. The Hebrew word most often translated ‘prophesy’ is nabawhich literally means to ‘bubble up’ and to ‘flow forth.’

b) Compare this to John 7:38-39.

John 7:38-39 (NKJV)
38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” 39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

c) As you prophesy, allow yourself to flow with the words/impressions that bubble up within you. Also, be aware that as you speak forth the revelation that bubbles up within you, the volume of your voice may at times increase. That is what happened to the prophet mentioned in 1 Kings 13:20-21.

1 Kings 13:20-21 (NKJV)
20 Now it happened, as they sat at the table, that the word of the Lord came to the prophet who had brought him back; 21 and he cried out to the man of God who came from Judah, saying, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Because you have disobeyed the word of the Lord, and have not kept the commandment which the Lord your God commanded you.

d) However, the volume of your voice will not  always increase.
