ONLY A FOOL DENIES GOD
(Message by Tanny Keng)
1. Why Is A Person A Fool Not To Believe In God?
a) David starts two Psalms with "The fool has said in his heart there is no God" (Psalms 14 and 53). On the first of April, people will be trying to make fools out of others. That's just a bit of fun. But when one makes a fool of oneself, by disbelief in God, nobody laughs. Why is a person a fool not to believe in God?
2. Only a Fool Denies God
a) You cannot sensibly say, “There is no God.” because you would have to know all things and be aware of everything that exists. Can human beings say, “We know and have discovered all things”? If not, then they are in no position to intelligently say, “There is no God”. If God "dwells in unapproachable light which no [mortal] has seen or can see" (1 Timothy 6:16), then we cannot discover God directly (Of course we can determine the existence of God in other ways). It is thus foolish to say God doesn't exist on the grounds that current scientific method hasn't found him.
The End ...
