PLACES IN ACTS: PAMPHYLIA

1. Places In Acts

a) We look at the places mentioned in Acts. Each place is located on a map and then we note the people and events associated with that place. Each place contains some information mentioned in the book of Acts. 

2. Pamphylia 

i) Pronounced Pam-fill'-yuh.

ii) Region beneath Pisidia and Lyaconia.

iii) Mentioned in connection with Paul’s 1st missionary journey (Acts 14:24-25).

iv) It was there that Mark deserted Paul and Barnabas (Acts 15:37-38).

v) People from Pamphylia were in Jerusalem on the Day of Pentecost after Christ’s ascension (Acts 2:9-11).
