ADMONISHMENTS ABOUT JUDGMENT (2)

1. Judgment

a) We noted that there are 400 Bible verses for any form of the words that make up judgment. Nearly 1,000 hits were received for love, mercy and grace together. So we can say that although our God is full of love, mercy and grace, He is also a righteous Creator and therefore must sometimes execute judgment.

2. Admonishments About Judgment

Romans 14:12-14 

So then each of us will give an account of himself to God. Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother. I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself, but it is unclean for anyone who thinks it unclean.

1 Corinthians 4:5 
Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.

1 Peter 4:17 

For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?
