2. Pray Bible Promises

a) Proverbs 23:6 King James Version (KJV)

6 Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that it is not wise to eat with those who have an evil eye, or to desire his delicacies.

Lord God, cause me to not eat the bread of an evil man, or desire the delicacies he offers.

b) Proverbs 23:7 King James Version (KJV)

7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that those with an evil eye, may tell you to eat and drink, but their heart is not with you.

Lord God, cause me to be careful to not accept every man's invitation to dine, as some say to eat and drink, but inwardly they are despising of your presence.
