Introduction
Every Christian ministry must ultimately answer one foundational question: Why do we exist?

These are valuable indicators of stewardship, but they are not the ultimate measure of success.
The greater question remains:
Have we glorified God?

Kingdom excellence exists to magnify God's greatness rather than human ability.

Should reflect reverence for God.

The greatest danger confronting any Christian organisation is subtle self-centredness.
Institutions may gradually become occupied with preserving their reputation rather than advancing Christ's Kingdom.
Scripture continually calls believers back to Christ Himself.
He remains the Head of the Church.
The Lord of the harvest.
The King of the Kingdom.
The source of every spiritual blessing.
Within SDC, Christ must always remain pre-eminent.
Our identity is found in Him.
Our authority comes from Him.
Our message concerns Him.
Our hope rests in Him.
Our future belongs to Him.
If Christ is honoured, the ministry has fulfilled its purpose.
Every Generation Exists for God's Glory
Every generation receives the privilege of participating in God's eternal purposes.
We stand upon the faithfulness of those who came before us.
Future generations will build upon our present stewardship.
Our responsibility is therefore not merely to preserve an institution.
It is to preserve a faithful witness to the glory of God.
Every leader we train.
Every student we teach.
Every resource we publish.
Every partnership we establish.
Every ministry initiative we undertake.
Should encourage future generations to glorify God above all else.
The Eternal Perspective
Earthly ministries possess temporary assignments.
The Kingdom of God is eternal.
Books eventually wear out.

We aspire to become a community of worshippers whose lives continually glorify God.

Our unity is ultimately found not in organisational identity but in shared devotion to Jesus Christ.
