0. Introduction
a) The Bible says God (the Father and the Word who later became Jesus Christ) used what they looked like as a pattern for creating man: "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness . . ." (Genesis 1:26). Although composed of spirit, the Godhead used themselves as the master template from which humans came into existence.
1. What little known but AMAZING things has God decided to do or NOT do?
a) He can choose to NOT know something the moment it occurs (Genesis 3:8-9, 11-13, 18:1-3, 16-17, 22:12).
b) In certain circumstances he is willing to negotiate what he will do (Genesis 18:17-33).
c) He will NEVER remember our sins in eternity (Isaiah 43:25, Hebrews 8:12, 10:17).
d) He can decide NOT to determine what someone will choose (Genesis 22:12).
e) He will never lie (Hebrews 6:17-18).
f) He will never change his character (Malachi 3:6, James 1:17).
g) He can change his mind regarding his plans based on what humans do (Genesis 6:1-6, 18:23-33, Jonah 3:10, Isaiah 1:18).
h) He can decide NOT to hear someone's prayers for help (Proverbs 28:9; Job 35:13; 1 Peter 3:12).
