0. Introduction
a) How exactly are Jesus and the Father ONE? Was Jesus CREATED or has he eternally existed with the Father? Is our Savior the GOD of the Old Testament who created man and dealt with Noah, Abraham, Moses, the nation of Israel and all the prophets? How is the Father GREATER than our Lord?
1. The One who created
a) Further evidence that Jesus is God comes from statements stating He was the Creator.
i) "And that I might enlighten all as to what is the fellowship of the mystery that has been hidden from the ages in God, Who created all things by Jesus Christ;" (Ephesians 3:9).
ii) "Still, to us there is one God the Father, from Whom are all things, and we are in Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by Whom are all things, and we are by Him." (1Corinthians 8:6, see also Colossians 1:16-17).
b) If Jesus Christ made everything, then logically he himself could not have been one of the things made!
