Afterward she got right back to work and gleaned in the field until evening. She threshed what she had gathered before going home. This was the pattern she followed until both the barley and wheat harvests were done. When God grants you favor and you receive His blessings, do not let it go to your head and do not let up. Keep working. Keep serving. Keep being faithful. Favor is not a retirement plan; it is fuel for continued obedience.

When you have favor and momentum, push ahead. Naomi understood this. When she and Ruth began to receive Boaz's favor, they did not just sit back and enjoy the provisions he made sure they received. And Boaz graciously gave his protection. He immediately became their advocate. When God opens a door, do not hesitate to walk through it. When God grants you favor, do not be passive. Be wise. Be bold. Be strategic. Use the momentum He has given you to move forward into the destiny He has prepared for you.

God wants His people to be recognized by others because of their love. Often we forget this. We think we will be recognized for our achievements, our gifts, our knowledge.
