a) World Event:

i) London founded; first definite reference to diamonds.

2. Date: 46

a) Bible Event:

i) Paul begins his first missionary journey.

3. Date: 50

a) World Event:

i) Romans begins using soap.

4. Date: 54

a) World Event:

i) Emperor Claudius poisoned by order of his wife; Nero becomes emperor.

5. Date: 57

a) Bible Event:

i) Paul writes Romans; Paul imprisoned in Caesarea.

6. Date: 59

a) Bible Event:

i) Paul's voyage to Rome.

7. Date:  60 

a) Bible Event:

i) Paul writes "prison letters."

8. Date: 62

i) Paul released from prison.

9. Date: 64

a) World Event:

i) Fire burns much of Rome. Nero blames Christians for setting it.
