THE YEAR OF THE "DOUBLE"

1. The Year of the "DOUBLE"
a) There is a spiritual significance to both the Hebraic calendar year 5774, which we have entered, and the year 2014, which tie together in quite an interesting way. The Hebraic year 5774 typologically indicates that we will “see the door” or “know the way in which we should go,” while the year 2014—being a fourteen, or two sevens—signifies “the double.” Taken together, one could consider this to be a season of double doors.
i) Isaiah 45:1-3
“Thus says the Lord to His anointed, To Cyrus, whose right hand I have held - To subdue nations before him, And loose the armor of kings, To open before him the double doors, So that the gates will not be shut.
I will go before you And make the crooked places straight, I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron,
I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden riches of secret places, That you may know that I, the Lord, Am the God of Israel.”
b) While 2014 may be a year of continued shakings worldwide, but there is also an open door for acceleration and the accomplishment of dreams that have seemingly been put on hold or delayed.
