THE INSPIRATION & AUTHORITY (4)
(Message by Tanny Keng)
1. Introduction
a) The Bible is full of wonderful stories and special truth. What we want to do is to discover the Bible.
b) Psalm 119:11 says, "Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You."
c) Nurture and grow your understanding of the Bible as you read and discover the Bible.
2. Consider Jesus' prediction of the future:
a) John 14:2-3 New International Version (NIV)
2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
b) Can you count on this truth?
i) Matthew 25:31 New International Version (NIV)
31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne.
c) Conclusion
i) The Bible is not just inspired in parts; it is a fully "God-breathed" volume! It is a perfect book, a treasury of truth. Not one part of it - as we shall see it with meaning and value!
ii) Therefore, as you read the Bible, be certain of this fact: the very passage you decide to be irrelevant is hiding a special truth for your blind eyes!
The End ...
