1. Apportionment Of Tribal Territories
a) In the CONQUEST OF CANAAN we note the apportionment of tribal territories.
2. Territories East Of Jordan
i) Reuben (Joshua 13).
ii) Gad (Joshua 13).
iii) Manasseh (Joshua 13).
iv) Hebron for Caleb (Joshua 14).
3. Territories West of Jordan
i) Judah (Joshua 15).
ii) Ephraim (Joshua 16).
iii) Manasseh (Joshua 17).
iv) Benjamin (Joshua 18).
v) Simeon (Joshua 19).
vi) Zebulun (Joshua 19).
vii) Issachar (Joshua 19).
ix) Naphtali (Joshua 19).
x) Daniel (Joshua 19).
4. Other Apportionment
i) A town for Joshua (Joshua 19).
ii) The cities of refuge (Joshua 20).
iii) Towns for the Levites (Joshua 21).
5. Notes
a) The names of the territories apportioned do not match exactly with the twelve sons of Jacob, because the sons of Joseph (Ephraim and Manasseh) gained separate territories, whilst the Levites had no single territory as such, but were allotted various towns.
