PLACES IN ACTS: PONTUS

1. Places In Acts
a) We look at the places mentioned in Acts. Each place is located on a map and then we note the people and events associated with that place. Each place contains some information mentioned in the book of Acts.
2. Pontus
i) Pronounced Pon'-tuss.
ii) Pontus and Bithynia are areas north of Asia and Galatia.
iii) Aquila was born in Pontus (Acts 18:1-2).
iv) People from Pontus were in Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:9-11).
v) Peter wrote a letter to the Christians in Pontus (1 Peter 1:1).
