AMENDMENTS, CONSTITUTIONAL INTERPRETATION, DISSOLUTION, AND FINAL PROVISIONS OF THE OFFICIAL HANDBOOK OF SUNSHINE DESTINY COMMUNICATIONS (SDC)

18.1 Introduction

This Handbook serves as the principal governing document of Sunshine Destiny Communications (SDC). It establishes the ministry's philosophy, doctrinal foundations, governance structure, educational framework, operational policies, ethical standards, and administrative procedures.

The provisions contained herein are intended to promote biblical order, organizational accountability, responsible stewardship, and faithful ministry under the lordship of Jesus Christ.

This final chapter outlines the procedures governing amendments, interpretation, implementation, succession, dissolution, and the continuing authority of this Handbook.

18.2 Authority of the Handbook

This Handbook shall serve as the official policy and governance document of Sunshine Destiny Communications.

It provides guidance for:

  • Governance.
  • Leadership.
  • Educational programmes.
  • Ministry operations.
  • Auxiliary ministries.
  • Financial administration.
  • Publications.
  • Digital ministry.
  • Community engagement.
  • Organizational development.

All officers, leaders, staff, volunteers, and affiliated ministries shall operate consistently with this Handbook.

18.3 Supremacy of Scripture

The Holy Bible remains the supreme authority governing all matters of faith, doctrine, conduct, and ministry.

Where any provision of this Handbook appears to conflict with the clear teaching of Scripture, the authority of Scripture shall prevail.

The Handbook shall always be interpreted in light of biblical truth.

18.4 Interpretation

Questions concerning the interpretation of this Handbook shall be considered according to:

  • The Holy Scriptures.
  • The Statement of Faith.
  • The stated mission and vision of SDC.
  • The intent of the relevant provision.
  • Established governance principles.

Interpretive responsibility rests with the Founder & Overseer in consultation with the Management Board.

18.5 Amendments

Recognizing that ministry develops over time, this Handbook may be amended when necessary.

Amendments may be proposed by:

  • The SDC President, Founder & Overseer.
  • The Management Board.
  • A duly authorized committee appointed by the Management Board.

Every amendment shall be prayerfully considered and evaluated according to biblical principles before adoption.

18.6 Approval of Amendments

Amendments shall normally require:

  • Written proposal.
  • Review by the appropriate committee (where applicable).
  • Discussion by the Management Board.
  • Approval by the Founder & Overseer.
  • Official adoption and publication.

Administrative revisions that do not substantially alter policy may be approved through delegated authority.

18.7 Periodic Review

The Handbook should undergo periodic review to ensure that it:

  • Reflects biblical truth.
  • Supports effective ministry.
  • Remains administratively relevant.
  • Responds appropriately to changing ministry needs.
  • Continues to serve the mission of SDC.

Periodic review promotes organizational excellence without compromising biblical convictions.

18.8 Policies and Procedures

The Management Board may establish supplementary policies, operational manuals, administrative guidelines, or academic regulations to support the implementation of this Handbook.

Such documents shall not contradict:

  • The Holy Scriptures.
  • The Statement of Faith.
  • This Official Handbook.
18.9 Legal Compliance

Sunshine Destiny Communications shall seek to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdictions in which it operates, provided that such compliance does not require the ministry to violate biblical convictions.

Where legal obligations and biblical convictions appear to conflict, SDC shall seek lawful and biblically faithful responses guided by prayer, wisdom, and appropriate legal counsel.

18.10 Organizational Independence

Sunshine Destiny Communications remains an independent Christian ministry.

Partnerships, affiliations, and cooperative agreements shall not diminish:

  • The ministry's doctrinal integrity.
  • Organizational independence.
  • Biblical convictions.
  • Governance authority.

SDC shall retain full responsibility for its own governance unless otherwise established by formal written agreement approved by the Management Board.

18.11 Dissolution

Should Sunshine Destiny Communications cease operations, the dissolution process shall be conducted in an orderly, lawful, and transparent manner.

The Management Board shall oversee the process in consultation with the Founder & Overseer.

After the satisfaction of all lawful obligations:

  • Ministry assets shall not be distributed for private benefit.
  • Remaining assets shall be transferred to one or more Christian ministries or charitable organizations whose purposes substantially align with the mission and doctrinal convictions of SDC, subject to applicable law.
Every effort shall be made to preserve educational resources, publications, and ministry archives for future Kingdom service.

18.12 Preservation of Records

The ministry shall preserve important records, including:

  • Governance documents.
  • Financial records.
  • Educational records.
  • Historical archives.
  • Official publications.
  • Leadership appointments.
  • Minutes of significant meetings.

Records shall be maintained responsibly in both physical and digital formats where practicable.

18.13 Official Language

The official working language of this Handbook is English.

Authorized translations may be produced in other languages to facilitate ministry and education.

In the event of any discrepancy between an authorized translation and the official English edition, the English text shall prevail unless otherwise determined by the Management Board.

18.14 Effective Date

This Handbook shall take effect on the date approved by the Founder & Overseer and adopted by the Management Board of Sunshine Destiny Communications.

Subsequent editions shall supersede earlier editions from their respective effective dates.

18.15 Commitment to Continuous Improvement

SDC acknowledges that Christian ministry requires continual growth in faithfulness, wisdom, and effectiveness.

Accordingly, the ministry is committed to:
