PLACES IN ACTS: ANTIOCH PISIDIA

1. Places In Acts

a) We look at the places mentioned in Acts. Each place is located on a map and then we note the people and events associated with that place. Each place contains some information mentioned in the book of Acts. 

2. Antioch Pisidia 

i) Pronounced An'-tee-ock of Piss-id'-ee-ya.

ii) Pisidian Antioch stood on a plateau 3,600 feet above sea level.

iii) Mentioned in connection with Paul’s 1st missionary journey.

iv) Paul and Barnabas had to climb a hard mountainous road to get there and preach in the synagogue (Acts 13:14-16).
