1. Places In Acts
a) We look at the places mentioned in Acts. Each place is located on a map and then we note the people and events associated with that place. Each place contains some information mentioned in the book of Acts.
2. Phonecia
i) Pronounced Fuh-nee'-shuh or Fone-ee'-see-uh.
ii) A district about 200km by 25km along the shores of Syria.
iii) The outreach of Christianity gained impetus when persecuted Christians were scattered into Phoenicia (Acts 11:19).
iv) Paul passed through there when he went from Antioch to attend the council in Jerusalem (Acts 15:3-4).
v) Mentioned in connection with Paul’s 3rd missionary journey. (Acts 21:2-3).
