PLACES IN ACTS: TROAS

1. Places In Acts

a) We look at the places mentioned in Acts. Each place is located on a map and then we note the people and events associated with that place. Each place contains some information mentioned in the book of Acts. 

2. Troas

i) Pronounced Troe'-az.

ii) City on the northwest coast of Asia.

iii) There Paul had a vision calling him to Macedonia (Acts 16:8-11).

iv) That was on Paul’s 2nd missionary journey.

v) On his 3rd missionary journey, Paul spent a week there (Acts 20:6).

vi) At one time in Troas, Paul was unable to take full advantage of an opportunity to win converts (2 Corinthians 2:12-13).

vii) Paul left some belongings with a friend at Troas (2 Timothy 4:13).
