JESUS & THE FATHER ONE GOD? (1)

0. Introduction

a) How exactly are Jesus and the Father ONE? Was Jesus CREATED or has he eternally existed with the Father? Is our Savior the GOD of the Old Testament who created man and dealt with Noah, Abraham, Moses, the nation of Israel and all the prophets? How is the Father GREATER than our Lord?

1. The Godhead matters

a) Is the Godhead, who and what is God, relevant to living life each day? Some do not think so. A wrong idea, however, about God's nature can affect our spiritual life. Many do not even know who or what they worship, as Jesus told the woman from Samaria.

i) "You do not know what you worship. We know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews." (John 4:22, Holy Bible in Its Original Order - A Faithful Version (HBFV) throughout, unless stated).

b) Our Father does want us to know who He is and to worship him in a certain way.

i) "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth." (verse 24)
