1. Bible Topic
a) To learn what the Bible has to say on a variety of topics affecting our everyday lives, we may find what we are looking for here.
2. Jesus Christ
a) What does it take to follow Jesus? It's in the Bible, Luke 9:23, NKJV. " Then He said to them all, 'If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.'"
b) Jesus' life becomes ours. It's in the Bible, Galatians 2:20, NKJV. "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."
c) We should try to be like Jesus. It's in the Bible, Philippians 2:5-8, NKJV. "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross."
d) Jesus wants to be your Savior. It's in the Bible, John 1:12, NKJV. "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name"
e) It's in the Bible, John 3:16, NKJV. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
f) It's in the Bible, 1 Peter 3:18, NKJV. "For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit."
