PRAY BIBLE PROMISES: ACTS (5)

(Message by Tanny Keng)

1. Bible Prayers

a) There is no best prayer known other than to pray accordingly to His Word. This is one sure way of experiencing what His Word says in our lives as we identify and agree with what He has said in His Word.

b) There are more than 7,200 prayers in the Bible. Below are some examples that you may want to use by yourself, in a group, or be creative and pass along ways others may be able to use it.

2. Pray Bible Promises

a) Acts 2:36 King James Version (KJV)

36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You made Jesus, who was crucified, both Lord and Christ.

Lord God, cause me to understand in my heart, that Jesus is my Savior and my Master.

b) Acts 2:38-39 King James Version (KJV)

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Lord God, thank You for Your instruction, to repent, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins.

Lord God, thank You for Your promise, that when we are baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, we will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the promise that we will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost when we are baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, was made to the people at Pentecost, their children, and to all that were far away, even as many people as You will call.

Lord God, thank You for Your promise that repentance and baptism leads to the remission of sins, and the gift of the Holy Ghost.

The End ...
