PRAY BIBLE PROMISES: PHILIPPIANS (2)

(Message by Tanny Keng)

1. Bible Prayers

a) There is no best prayer known other than to pray accordingly to His Word. This is one sure way of experiencing what His Word says in our lives as we identify and agree with what He has said in His Word.

b) There are more than 7,200 prayers in the Bible. Below are some examples that you may want to use by yourself, in a group, or be creative and pass along ways others may be able to use it.

2. Pray Bible Promises

a) Philippians 1:4-5 King James Version (KJV)

Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,

For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Paul gave You thanks on every remembrance of his fellow brethren in Christ.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Paul prayed to You, and made requests for his fellow brethren in Christ, from their first day in the fellowship of the gospel.

Lord God, cause me to give You thanks on every remembrance of my fellow brethren in Christ.

Lord God, cause me to pray to You, and make requests for my fellow brethren in Christ, from their first day in the fellowship of the gospel.

b) Philippians 1:6 King James Version (KJV)

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Lord God, thank You for Your promise that we can be confident, that after You have begun a good work in us, You will continue to perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Lord God, begin a good work in me.

Lord God, give me confidence, that after having begun a good work in me, You will continue to perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

The End ...
