PRAY BIBLE PROMISES: 1 TIMOTHY (4)

(Message by Tanny Keng)

1. Bible Prayers

a) There is no best prayer known other than to pray accordingly to His Word. This is one sure way of experiencing what His Word says in our lives as we identify and agree with what He has said in His Word.

b) There are more than 7,200 prayers in the Bible. Below are some examples that you may want to use by yourself, in a group, or be creative and pass along ways others may be able to use it.

2. Pray Bible Promises

a) 1 Timothy 2:8 King James Version (KJV)

I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

Lord, keep me in the habit of praying, in holy obedience, and without doubting.

b) 1 Timothy 3:16 King James Version (KJV)

16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that there is no controversy that the mystery of godliness is great.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the mystery of godliness is that You, in the form of Jesus Christ, were manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached to the Gentiles, believed on in the world, and received up into glory.

c) 1 Timothy 4:8-9 King James Version (KJV)

For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.

Lord, cause me to seek after godliness, which profits me in this life and in the life to come.
