PLACES IN ACTS: AZOTUS

1. Places In Acts

a) We look at the places mentioned in Acts. Each place is located on a map and then we note the people and events associated with that place. Each place contains some information mentioned in the book of Acts. 

2.  Azotus 

i) Pronounced Uh-zoat'-us.

ii) Called Ashdod in the Old Testament.

iii) Coastal city south of Joppa, and west of the Jerusalem-Gaza road.

iv) Philip was found there after he had preached to the Ethiopian (Acts 8:26-27, 40).
