PLACES IN ACTS: ICONIUM

1. Places In Acts

a) We look at the places mentioned in Acts. Each place is located on a map and then we note the people and events associated with that place. Each place contains some information mentioned in the book of Acts. 

2. Iconium 

i) Pronounced Eye-Cone'-ee-um.

ii) A town near Lystra and Derbe.

iii) Mentioned in connection with Paul’s 1st missionary journey.

iv) Paul and Barnabus preached there (Acts 14:1,21, Acts 16:1-2).

v) Jews from Antioch and Iconium tried to kill Paul (Acts 14:19-20).
