PLACES IN ACTS: PHENICE (PHOENIX)

1. Places In Acts

a) We look at the places mentioned in Acts. Each place is located on a map and then we note the people and events associated with that place. Each place contains some information mentioned in the book of Acts. 

2. Phenice (Phoenix) 

i) Pronounced Fen'-uhs.

ii) Also called Phoenix pronounced Fee'-nix.

iii) A harbor of Crete.

iv) Mentioned in connection with Paul’s journey to Rome.

v) Against Paul’s advice, the ship he was on tried to sail there to winter, and was subsequently blown to Clauda and later wrecked on Malta (Acts 27:12-16).
