What are some Biblical songs  NOT found in the Book of Psalms? A song of triumph was sung by Moses and all the Israelites after Pharaoh and his army were drowned in the Red Sea by God. 1. A song, likely written by the Old Testament Judge Deborah, was sung when the Israelites were set free from the Canaanites (Judges 5:1-2). 2. Song of victory over David's enemies. a) 1 When the Lord saved David from Saul and his other enemies, David sang this song to the Lord: 2 The Lord is my protector; he is my strong fortress. (2Samuel 22:1-2) 3. A song of praise was sung when Jerusalem's new temple was dedicated by King Solomon. The Levites, who were God's appointed priests at the temple, used harps, cymbals and their own voices to sing thanksgiving to God (2Chronicles 5:13). 4. Song to be sung after the dead are resurrected and the ancient Israelites are restored to the land they originally inherited from God (Isaiah 26:1-3). 5. A song of victory will soon be sung by those who overcome the Beast and his false system that will be set up on earth during the great tribulation (Revelation 15:1-4).
