SALVATION (2)

(Message by Tanny Keng)

1. Bible Topic

a) To learn what the Bible has to say on a variety of topics affecting our everyday lives, we may find what we are looking for here.

2. Salvation

a) What are the consequences of sin and being separated from God? It's in the Bible, James 1:15, NKJV. "Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death."

b) How can I be saved from death? It's in the Bible, Romans 6:23, NKJV. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

c) God offers us salvation through Jesus. It's in the Bible, Matthew 1:21, NKJV. "And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.”

d) What did Jesus do to save me? It's in the Bible, Isaiah 53:5-7, NKJV. "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all."

e) It's in the Bible, Philippians 2:5, NLT. "You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross."

The End ...
