SALVATION (3)
(Message by Tanny Keng)
1. Bible Topic
a) To learn what the Bible has to say on a variety of topics affecting our everyday lives, we may find what we are looking for here.
2. Salvation
a) Why did God send Jesus to die for me, you don't know the terrible things I've done. It's in the Bible, Romans 5:8, NKJV. " But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
c) It's in the Bible, John 3:16-17, NKJV. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."
d) Through Jesus's death we are no longer separated from God. It's in the Bible, Romans 5:10, NKJV. "For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life."
e) Salvation means we receive eternal life if we enter into a personal relationship with God. It's in the Bible, John 17:3, NKJV. "And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent."
f) Salvation cannot be earned, it is a gift from God. It's in the Bible, Ephesians 2:8-9, NKJV. "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them."
