2. Where were they?
@1. Egypt (430 years).
3. How many?
@1. About 1 million.
4. How long did the journey take them?
@1. 20 years and 2 attempts.
5. Who led them?
@1. Moses, Aaron, Joshua.
6. What was their purpose?
@1. To reclaim the Promised Land.
7. What obstacles did they face?
@1. Red Sea, wilderness, enemies.
8. What failures did they experience?
@1. Complaining, disobedience, retreat - all of which turned a journey of a few weeks into a 40-year ordeal.
9. What successes did they have?
@1. Eventually entered the Promised Land.
10. What lessons did they learn?
@1. God will build his nation.
@2. God is both faithful and just.
@3. God will accomplish great acts to make his promises come true.
