2. Where were they?
@1. Babylon (70 years).
3. How many?
@1. 60,000.
4. How long did the journey take them?
@1. 100 years and 3 journeys.
5. Who led them?
@1. Zerubbabel, Ezra, Nehemiah.
6. What was their purpose?
@1. To rebuild the temple and city of Jerusalem.
7. What obstacles did they face?
@1. Ruins, limited resources, enemies.
8. What failures did they experience?
@1. Fear, discouragement, apathy - all of which turned a project of a few months into one that required a century to complete.
9. What successes did they have?
@1. Eventually rebuilt Jerusalem's temple and wall.
10. What lessons did they learn?
@1. God will preserve his nation.
@2. God will continue to have a chosen people, a home for them, and a plan to offer himself to mankind.
