KNOW GOD (2)

(Message by Tanny Keng)

1. Know God

a)Thus says the LORD: “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches; But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the LORD. (Jeremiah 9:23-24 NKJV)

b) We are now in a time of a new reformation. It seems that in every generation God increases the light of revelation of knowing Him in a greater way. We are now coming into a greater understanding of the goodness of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For it is God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:6 NKJV)

c) This revelation will increase until the earth is filled with the knowledge of the glory of God. For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, As the waters cover the sea. (Habakkuk 2:14 NKJV)

2. Other Scriptures

(Deuteronomy 4:35-40 NKJV)
To you it was shown, that you might know that the LORD Himself is God; there is none other besides Him. (36) Out of heaven He let you hear His voice, that He might instruct you; on earth He showed you His great fire, and you heard His words out of the midst of the fire. (37) And because He loved your fathers, therefore He chose their descendants after them; and He brought you out of Egypt with His Presence, with His mighty power, (38) driving out from before you nations greater and mightier than you, to bring you in, to give you their land as an inheritance, as it is this day. (39) Therefore know this day, and consider it in your heart, that the LORD Himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other. (40) You shall therefore keep His statutes and His commandments which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which the LORD your God is giving you for all time.”
