INTERCESSORY PRAYER

0. Introduction
a) How many people in your life could be touched if you prayed in this way?
1. Be thankful for their faith and changed lives (Colossians 1:3)
i) 3 We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you. (Colossians 1:3 NKJV)
2. Ask God to help them know what he wants them to do (Colossians 1:9)
i) 9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. (Colossians 1:9 NKJV)
3. Ask God to give them deep spiritual understanding (Colossians 1:9)
i) See item 2 (i).
4. Ask God to help them live for him (Colossians 1:10)
i) 10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. (Colossians 1:10 NKJV)
5. Ask God to give them more knowledge of himself (Colossians 1:10)

6. Ask God to give them strength and endurance (Colossians 1:11)
i) 11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and long-suffering with joy. (Colossians 1:11 NKJV)
7. Ask God to fill them with joy, strength, and thankfulness (Colossians 1:11)
