SIMPLICITY
(Message by Tanny Keng)
1. Bible Topic
a) To learn what the Bible has to say on a variety of topics affecting our everyday lives, we may find what we are looking for here.
2. Simplicity
a) Because it is simple, even children can understand what Jesus teaches. It's in the Bible, Matthew 11:25, NIV. "At that time Jesus said, 'I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children."
b) We find God by simply believing what He says. It's in the Bible, I Corinthians 1:21, TLB. "For God in His wisdom saw to it that the world would never find God through human brilliance, and then He stepped in and saved all those who believed His message, which the world calls foolish and silly."
c) True beauty values simplicity. It's in the Bible, I Peter 3:3-4, NIV. "Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight." I Timothy 2:9,10, NIV says, "I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God."
