NUMBER NINE (9-2)
(Message by Tanny Keng)
0. Introduction
a) Nine is a most remarkable number in many respects. It is the last of the digits, and thus marks the end; and is significant of the conclusion of a matter. In the Bible the number 9 is used 49 times and pictures finality or divine completeness from the Lord. Jesus died at the 9th hour, the completion of His physical life. His death was the beginning of the finishing of sin and Satan. It is interesting to note what other mention(s) for 9 can be found in the Bible.
1. What is the first battle found in God's word?
a) The first contest is a battle between a group of 4 and a group of 5 kings.
i) 1 Now war filled the land - Amraphel, king of Shinar, Arioch, king of Ellasar, Chedorlaomer, king of Elam, and Tidal, king of Goiim 2 fought against: Bera, king of Sodom, Birsha, king of Gomorrah, Shinab, king of Admah, Shemeber, king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela (later called Zoar). (Genesis 14:1-2, TLB)
The End ..
